Meet Harinder.
Rooted in Ward 11
Harinder Kumar has proudly called the Manor Park neighborhood home for over four years. It’s where he and his wife are choosing to raise their two young daughters, and where he is deeply invested in building a safe, vibrant future for every family on the block.
A Practical, Problem-Solving Background
Effective local government requires a deep understanding of how things are built, how they function, and how communities grow. Harinder brings a unique blend of technical expertise and local market insight to City Hall:
Engineering & Technical Expertise: As a trained Engineer (B.Eng) and Licensed Millwright, he understands the value of preventative maintenance, structural accountability, and finding practical, data-driven solutions to complex infrastructure challenges.
Local Housing & Community Insight: As a professional Real Estate Salesperson, he works face-to-face with residents every day, giving him a clear, firsthand understanding of the economic realities, housing needs, and everyday challenges facing London families.
Why Run for Ward 11 Council?
Our community deserves a councillor who shows up—not just during election season, but at your doors, at neighborhood meetings, and consistently at City Hall.
Harinder is running a collaborative, non-partisan campaign focused on delivering real results for our neighborhood. His key priorities include:
Infrastructure Accountability: Ensuring public funds are invested wisely in robust, long-term infrastructure upgrades that keep our city moving.
Public Safety: Working alongside community members to build safer streets and secure neighborhoods for our children.
Transparent Leadership: Listening first, deciding second, and always reporting back honestly to the residents of Ward 11.
Outside of Work
When he isn't advocating for the community or helping clients, you’ll find Harinder spending quality time with his wife and daughters, supporting local independent businesses, or catching up with neighbors at community events like Sunfest, multicultural and the Gathering on the Green in Wortley Village.
